What type of tool to use to Cut Arborite countertop?
We are to pull out our Oven stove this weekend and insert this new Fridgidaire Oven but the counter top has to be cut back. What exactly should I be looking forward to??

Is this feasible to do without removing the entire 7 feet of countertop???

I'm assuming it's some kind of formica. If so, I'd use a portable jigsaw with a formica countertop blade. That range may come with a template to use.
Are you sure you've got the elictrcal connections figured out? You probably have two circuits now but will need one with the new range. Make sure you have the right amperage circuit.
Also your stuff looks old enough that you may have an aluminum three wire system. If you do and you can't plug in directly to the old one or need higher amperage you'll need new 4 wire copper all the way to the circuit breaker.
In other words, make sure you know what's going on electricaly before you start your project.
