Tub door installation

I want to install a new tub/shower door in our main bathroom. There is a 60" tub already installed. The length of the wall spacing (including drywall over the tub mounting flanges) is 59 5/8 at the widest area. The tub door enclosure manufactures door specs (that I have found thus far) are all listed at 59 3/8.

My question is.........how much variance is there in the length of the aluminum extrusion frames that might allow for the extra length needed to fit into the door opening width?

The side extrusions will allow for probably 3/8" on each side, so you should be ok with the ones offerred. You may have to cut the bottom and top extrusion to fit, but the sides will expand.
