Curved shower curtain rod problem

I installed a curved shower curtain rod and due to the weight of the shower curtain, the brackets holding the rod up is tilting and looks like it is going to fall out of the wall. It is mounted in sheet rock with anchors. How do I keep the brackets in place and tight?

Tile Backsplash edge

Hey gang- i'm trying to figure out what is customary / normal / preferred method of finishing the edge of a tile back splash that will butt up to the side of window casing over the sink. Do you just tile up to trim and finish with grout (seems like it would eventually fail). Do you use one of the schluter edges to butt up to the window trim (seems like a little overkill). Shower Door & Tub Recommendations?

i'm replacing the whole tub and surround in my rental property and needed some good suggestions on brands or models of bathtubs and shower door. for tubs, i've been told to replace my porcelain on stamped seal tub with American Standard's Americast line. any other recommendations? and i don't know where to shop for shower doors. HD seems to have reasonable prices but not sure about quality. most important about the door is that it is low-maintenance and not flimsy, considering renteres may not treat it the best. I've also seen Aluminex and Cardinal Showers at glass shops. Prices are at least $100 higher than HD for similar looking doors. quality is most important to me. what do you suggest?Read More
