Shower Suprise!

Hey:

We are re-modeling our bathroom and when we took out the shower stall, we found some issues with how the floor is underneath... I would like to post a picture but don't know how because it is hard to explain what is there.
So, how do I post pictures so I can get some of your wisdom for the help I need?
Thanks in advance and take care
Dan

Dan, post the pictures to a site such as photobucket.com and copy/paste the HTML Code to a post here. That way we will be able to help better.

Great and thanks!

Ok, here you go..

My question is :
What do I use to fill in and smooth out the rough edges on the top and side where I have removed the tile? You can see that the tile will be on the near side when we are done and there is a 1/2" strip that the other guy ran small cut tiles as a filler. I would like to fill with the same compound that I use all over?
Hope you get what I am saying because I feel like I am talking in Martian and you guys are listening in English..
Thanks again and take care
