Floor Creaks Under Tub
Good afternoon!
We just had a new tub installed about two / three weeks ago, and the floor underneath it was replaced. This morning, I heard creaking under the tub when stepping in certain spots... kind of like a wooden floor would creak. I'm imagining it's just the wood "settling" but I'm not sure.
Is this common?

You say the floor was replaced, type of tub, need more info there. Was it the subfloor, joists, both, or what??? If the joists were solid, and only the subfloor was replaced, you may hear the tub rubbing on the subfloor. If it was a steel or iron tub, I would say there probably is no concern. If it was a fiberglass or similar tub, it may have needed some support such as cement or foam before the installation. That is a problem.
