Guys:
I need help in removing the exhaust fan from the bathroom
I removed teh cover
and the fan motor
now i need to remove the frame to which the motor was held
I cant find the screws\or whatever that is holding that frame to whatever its holding ?
PS: i tried finding a replacement fan- no luck in that

the housing is probably held on with nails/screws through tabs or wings on the outside of the box. If you can't get into the ceiling above, you may be able to use a sawsall, or a hacksaw blade and work it up between the case and the mounting surface and cut through the nails/screws. If you go look at a new fan, you'll see the tabs/wings I mean.
Yeah, it's no fun if you don't have the access, thats why many folks get new motors instead.
What brand and model do you have?
