Need some advice on basement bathroom
I am finishing out my basement. There was allready a separate 8x8 foot area that appears to be plumbed. Copper pipes run overhead. There is a pvc outlet about a foot off the ground in the wall that runs down below the concrete floor. There is a larger diameter pvc pipe coming directly up through the concrete floor at about the area where a tub might go. Am i correct in assuming that the smaller pipe from the wall is drain for a sink and that the larger pipe in the floor is drain for a tub? Is it easy to bring water down from the copper pipes running overhead? I plan to call a plumber for this part of the job but I want to have some idea of whats down there before I call. The house was built thirty years ago. Would this add any concern to any of you? Thanks for reading all this.

A few pictures might help. My guess would be the larger pipe would be for the commode and the smaller one for the sink. Probably not roughed for a tub/shower if that is all there is.
I'd have the plumber look at it and let him tell you.
Good luck,
Tom

Measure the pipes... 4 or 3 inch is for a commode.... 2inch is for a shower and/or tub and/or sink.... 1.5inch is for a tub or a sink.... By code......
As for supply lines.... running copper is relatively simple.....
