I have a 30' wide drawer, are there glides to accomodate this wide a drawer?

I am in the middle of building my own kitchen cabinets. The drawer on one of my base cabinets will be 30 inches wide. All drawer glide sets I see state that they are for drawers up to 16 inches wide. I really don't want to split it to two drawers so I am looking to see if anyone will disprove the idea that the glides won't work on that wide a drawer.
Has anyone done this before with their drawer? I realize that the spec's from the factory are most likely correct and should be followed, I like to bend the rules sometimes.
Let me know IF you have any good ideas?

I used Accuride glides on my cabinets 13 years ago and there's never been a problem with drawers binding. I only have one 30" wide drawer, but it's the silverware drawer, and is heavily loaded. We also have several 24" wide drawers, and some at 18".

I am just gonna go with the glides I purchased. I have not received them yet, I think they are Accuride or KVR or something like that. They are self closing full extension glides, they are not cheap ones so I feel better knowing someone else has done this also. i am also going to use 1/2 inch plywood for the drawer bottoms so even though it will not be a silverware drawer, it should be plenty strong and sturdy.
