installing 3 piece shower surround
We are thinking about installing a three piece shower surround over the existing 35 year old ceramic tile.
Is there anything special we should know before we make our final decision?
How does it attach to the tile.....glue?
Would there be a problem with moisture/mold forming between the two walls?
Thanks

What type surround, what is wrong with the tile?? If the tile is sound(no loose tiles) and clean, the adhesives supplied should work OK. Moisture will not go thru most surrounds, just make sure it is properly caulked.

We haven't gone looking yet, so I don't know what types are out there....just wondering if it is even feasible to put it over the old tiles.
There are some loose tiles in one area, which I guess my husband would remove and put sheetrock, or whatever is best, in that spot.
