Metal Edge bead for Countertop

Hi everyone...I'm new to the site so be easy on me. My question is simple really. I'm tiling a counter top and want to inclute a chrome finished edging. Before I do it wrong or not quite right, I'd like to know how to bend the metal for an outside corner. I understand the 45 and 45 cuts, but how far, if at all, do I cut into the area that will be visible once the tile is down.

I hope I was clear enough. Please help!

Thanks
Travis

I think this is exactly what you are looking for: Schluter's RONDEC.

The RONDEC has inside and outside corners available so you don't have to mitre cut the corners. The mitre cuts can be hazardous and are very sharp.

This product can be ordered from Home Depot.

I'm envious!

This morning at 8a.m. the temperature was "0" and the windchill was 22 below, sound familiar?
