microwave damper bangging

microwave damper bangging

i have a ge microwave over my stove ducted out the roof damper on the roof unit and one on the micro, the damper on the micro tings all the time the wind is blowing need help

Is your damper metal, plastic Etc.--does it have a soft gasket to dampen the sound ( bang-bang ) ????

it is metal and i have put some soft foam weather strip material around the damper and it did quiet it down but the banging is still there

Sounds like a job for plumber-see if he can make tings go away.
