Sink has puddle near drain

We have an island sink that I replaced the drain on some time ago, and I think I unknowingly pushed the bottom of the sink up just a tad, for there is a puddle of water near the drain now, and once I saw that, I realized I more than likely bent the metal upwards. It's a stainless steel sink, and I was wondering if it's possible to bend the sink back down, and if anyone knows of an efficient way to do this, other than taking a 2 x 6 with a washcloth for padding, and putting all of my weight on it. I was assuming this might work, but considering the fact that I am disabled, I am thinking there may be a better way to do this without shelling out the cost of another sink.

Thank you in advance,
Irvine, CA

Mike: welcome to the forums! You may do as you suggest, but rather than putting your weight on it, just tap the end of the 2x4 with a hammer. The sink has a memory, and it should snap back in its original position, unless you really bent it bad. Let us know how that goes on try #1. We have more tricks.
