Changing shower enclosure trim

I have just moved into a newly constructed home. The master bath shower enclosure is trimmed out in chrome. I want to change it to bronze. How do I do this myself? Where do you buy the trim? Is it possible to paint the shower trim?

These are decisions you make before, not after. Paint aint gonna work here.

Paint will not hold up in a shower. Check shower and shower door for a brand name and go to a local plumbing/bath supply store. Major manufacturers often offer chrome or brass trim as options. Some are now offering oil rubbed bronze.

If you are talking about the shower door then YES you can change it. Go buy a new door.

If you are talking about metal edging somewhere in the tile installation your stuck with it.
