Question bathroom remodel

I need a new bathroom which includes a new tub&tub surround,commode sink&vanity flooring&lighting.Ive gotten quite a few bids & the best prices Ive gotten were $5000 or more!Does this seem fair or reasonable?

What size bathroom we talking about here? Tile surround & floors?

$5000 is on the low end for an entire bathroom remodel. I've spent close to that doing the work myself......it's expensive work.

I agree, $5K is cheap for a full bathroom redo. Give us specifics of what you are looking for.

I'm interested in this as well. I'm willing to cut corners in a lot of areas (except decor), and would love to hear suggestions on how to save some $.

Cutting corners? That could lead to bad installation. Only way to save $$ is to do it yourself.

Cutting corners in a bathroom pretty much is limited to forgoing the jacuzzi for a regular bathtub... or opting for a Plain Jane sink and commode instead of the high-end models. Other than that you're simply going to have to deal with all the same issues.
