Need help figuring out what this is

So i just moved into my new place and there is some weird switch or something in the bathroom. It's the middle one and it's surface looks like a calculator screen and the buttons dont seem to work.

Thanks.

It looks to be a variable speed control and timer for the exhaust fan. Being electronic, it has probably taken a spike and died. Good idea, however, to have the fan run for 10 minutes after you leave the bathroom and evacuate moisture, etc.

If this is a control for vent/exhaust system, 20+ minutes is recommended to exhaust humidity from bath and shower.

My guess is that it's a ventilation control with a night light. The blank area could also be a programming screen. Kill the power and remove the cover plate. You can probably read a part number and look it up on the internet. It may well be provided as a part of the vent fan. If you can figure out who made your vent you can probably look it up on their site.
