In what order do I do a semi-DIY kitchen reno?

I plan to re-do my kitchen by re-painting some good quality but out-dated cabinets, replacing the window behind my kitchen sink, replacing the ceramic tile backsplash with either glass subway tiles or a combo glass subway tiles and custom concrete backsplash, and replacing the laminate counter with a custom concrete countertop. I'm just not sure at this point in which order all these things should take place. The window and countertop I will have someone do, but I will be doing the re-painting and backsplash my self. So in what order would I do the following, and why?:

1. re-paint cabinets
2. replace window
3. install countertop
4. replace backsplash

Thank you in advance for any insight.

Move #1 to the end of the list.

The order in which it's all done isn't overly important. What you hire done will obviously have to be done within their scheduling.

If you paint first, you'll have to do some paint touch up after the other work is done. If you paint last, you'll have to cover up and paint a little more carefully The backsplash is best left for last.

Agree to leave the cabinets until last. Also, take them off to paint them if you can-- seems like more work, but you'll be able to get to all the nooks and cracks.
