caulking around tile tub surround?
We put in new ceramic tile in bath.We caulked it with FlorCraft ceramic tile & fixture caulk sand #96 sanded. It says lifetime guaranty. We've remodeled the bath 2 yrs ago. The caulk keeps peeling off .I realize it probably shouldn't harden but it isn't flexible either. The guy that installed has done a lot of tile work. What should have been used on it? We used color matched caulk. Any advice would be appreciatted.Thanks.

Some caulk says lifetime guarantee but no caulk lasts that long
You generally get what you pay for, a $6 tube of caulk should last longer than a $1 tube

Most folks say 100% silicone for bath joints. I'm kinda unsure what you mean though. The title says tub surround..but the post mentions tile? If you mean the tile to tub joint at the bottom...I'd use silicone.
