Lubricating kitchen faucet swivel
My Moen single handle kitchen faucet is very stiff and has been since new. In fact, in the first year of use moving the faucet back and forth between the two sink basins caused the (single) nut holding it in place to loosen.
Is there anything I can spray in the joint area to loosen it up? I don't want to spray something and discover a couple months later that it caused the seals to deteriorate and start leaking. Can I assume the o-rings would be tolerant of WD-40 or similar?
