Need a taller shower
#1

I'm sure there are other people out there with this problem. My shower head is just not tall enough. When we first bought this house the shower head hit me in the middle of the back, we put an extension arm on it and now it hits me in the middle of the head but it's just not right.
We've been contemplating this project and what we will need to do. Has anyone found a way to adjust their shower/bath area for people over 6'? I'm willing to install a new tub/shower unit. Are there specialty stores that provide the materials just for this kind of situation?
Thanks in advance

Look into a hand-held shower rig, and install the hanger as high as you can.
Would be a lot faster and cheaper than replumbing and installing a new shower/tub unit, and should solve the problem.
Good Luck!

Hey Too Tall,
Don't know if we have enough info here. What type of shower do you have. I mean, does the shower go quite a bit higher than the present shower head? If it does, you should consider buying one of the new adjustable showers that slide up down a bar (looks like a towel bar mounted vertically instead of horizontally). The shower has about a two foot adjustment.
If your shower walls aren't tall enough, maybe you could get one of those benches that go in the . . . . .
