Installing plastic trim for kitchen backsplash after completing tiling/grouting

Hi,

I tried searching but nothing came up.

After completing our first attempt at doing the kitchen backsplash, we decided after that we should of installed the plastic trim to cap off the tile job so it looks more complete.

Can I glue the trim to the edge of the tile? If so, what would be the best way to go about affixing the plastic trim to the tile? Some of the thinset glue?

I realize that the trim should of been installed before the laying the tile, but I was wondering if we can still ad it at this point.

Thanks

I would use Liquid Nails or PL 400.
