Replacing shower Faucet

Hi,

I would like to replace the faucet hardware in my shower to match our sink faucet. I currently have a "single handle " model from delta and would like to replace it with a single handle one from American Standard. Do I need to remove and replace the mixer valve?

thanks

If you have luck like I have, you would have to replace the entire shower body. Getting the mounting side of handles to match is not always easy.

Yep, recent valve bodies by the same manufacturer often accept componenets from the same manufacturer, but not others. Check with Delta for swapable components.
