MDF cabinet doors

Thinking about replacing bathroom very cabinet doors with MDF doors.
Is this material suited for bathroom moisture levels? Will be primed, painted with semi gloss latex paint.

Almost every off the shelf white cabinet from stores are made of MDF, normally with a thermofoil or painted finish. It will probably be fine, though getting the cut edges smooth can be a bit of work.

Doors

Be sure to paint all surfaces to avoid moisture penetration.

You can smear a little spackling or j/c on the cut edges and sand the majority of it off. That should give you a smooth edge. Latex primer and enamel should be ok although an oil base primer would give a little extra protection from moisture. As noted above - paint ALL the edges.
