Bathroom toilet clearance code question

I have a really weird shape space that I want to turn into half bath. Due to the fact that on the other side of the wall is a kitchen where part of the room angles off at a 45 degree angle, I am left with a space that is roughly triangular for the half bath.

Here is my question. I know that building code requires a minimum space of 30" by 60" for a toilet enclosure with 21" clearance in front of the toilet and 15" from the center line to a wall on either side. What I want to do is to frame off one corner of the triangle where I would have about 21"-24" of wall behind the toilet, but I am wondering if the 30" by 60" inch requirement for the toilet means that I would have to have a minimum of 30" of wall space behind the toilet and 60" down either side, or if as long as there is a square within the bathroom that is at least 30"X60" that this would satisfy the code?

I know that they do make corner toilets, but I am wondering if in order to be able to use a corner toilet if one wall in one direction to one side of the toilet would have to be a minimum of 30" and the other wall extending outward on the other side of the toilet would have to be a minimum of 60" (As long as I have the required 21 inches of clearance in front of the toilet? )

My problem is that the corner that I want to frame off is a 45 degree angle, and in order to get the required 30 inches behind the toilet, I would have to frame off about 3 to 4 feet of the triangle behind the toilet which is a huge waste of space.

My second question is, are there any requirements for clearance on either side or in front of the sink, so long as it isn't within 21" of the front of the toilet to meet the toilet clearance requirements?

Thanks!

I would have an architect draw some plans & file them with the building dept. That would avoid future problems, in case you want to sell.

The 2009 IRC has no requirement for depth except for 21" in front of the toilet and the lavatory.
