Kitchen design

I am considering modeling my new kitchen with black cabinets, black appliances, white counter tops, a light ceramic back splash and a light grey/beige on the walls. The house is all open, no walls separating the rooms, and the ceilings will be 9 feet high. There are approximately 8-10 large 6 foot windows in the area and the ceiling has 'Can' lighting throughout. Does black cabinets with black appliances seem too dark. I've seen black with stainless but that adds a bit to the price of appliances so I was wondering if the black on black would look good.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I don't think it's a right or wrong thing, but a preference thing. Personally, I think there would be too much black going around. I think I'd rather have white appliances which would work with the white countertop. Also, white appliances cost less than black.
On the other hand, door fronts are available to make appliances look like cabinets, so all black could look just fine.
Sorry, I wasn't more helpful, but I think it comes down to the preference thing.
