My neighbour wants to remove the tub from his bathroom and replace it with a new one. He lives in a log house. Is it possible to take the tub out without cutting through the walls? Add to that problem: mold behind the tub and showing on the exterior logs! How to kill the mold?? Bleach??

Hello
Take the old tub out...cut in half or smaller may have to remove sheet rock and/or tile to get the new tub installed.
bleach works very well but you may want to add it to water start with 50-50 if it is too strong it will bleach out the logs...never the less do not let it sit to long . wash it off real good let dry a day or two and do it again on out side. inside after you wash it down with water and it dryes seal the wood real good and find where and how the moisture is getting back there, over the tub edge? leaky drain? need to find and fix or this could get to be a habit.
.... fixing it...
