Help figuring out position of toilet / door

Greetings and thanks in advance for some advice. Below are two drawings of my current bathroom remodeling project. The question i have are by the yellow dots. Its whether or not it is wise to close a door off to a section of the house to make more room in the bathroom or to leave the door. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest closing off the master bath from the central hallway as shown in the bottom drawing. The feeling of a seperate and private space is one of the appeals of a master bedroom. A full bath still will remain to serve the Kids bedroom and rest of the house.
Make sure it's feasable to move the toilet! This could create some challenges.
Good luck.

i think the bottom pic would be fine. but, if you have someone of concern in the kids bedroom 1. you are going to have to walk all the way around to get there

I'm no design expert...but bathroom doors should always open in. The only time I've ever seen one open out is for a small 1/2 bath under stairs or similar.

Also, not sure of your actual measurements but why would you have the toilet in the second bath at an angle?

Set it square to the wall and use a 10" rough in for a little more clearance if needed.

And, do you enter your master bedroom from the closet??? Definitely have privacy.
