2ft by 3ft ceramic tiles in shower wall

iam installing 2ft by 3ft ceramic tiles onto shower walls. Does the size of tiles reflect a specifc adhesive.

First, welcome to the forums! I can't say what it "reflects". I have to ask how big is this shower? How do you plan on cutting the tile? You will only have one pristine tile running up the middle of each wall (two on a long wall) with all others cut. Last of all I have to ask....... why? Do you not think a smaller tile would be more in keeping with the size of the shower? Did you get them at a bargain? What type underlayment did you use in the shower. Vapor barrier beneath it?

These are huge tiles, is it a huge shower?

I'm guessing they are made for floors. I'm having a hard time believing they won't fall off before the mastic or thinset dries. Seems like you'd have to cross brace them till the thinset dries. Maybe quick dry epoxy but geeze that short of a working time could in itself be a problem with large tile.
