Taping joints between cement board and drywall

I am redoing a small bathroom and will be tiling only a portion of the walls. My plan was to use cement board where I'm tiling (lower half of wall around toilet) and then use the green drywall everywhere else.

My question is, what do I use to tape the joints between the cement board and drywall. Or, any better suggestions?

Tile backer is generally only needed in the tub/shower area. But fill the joint with mud, then tape and mud again.
