Overhead shower causing water to drip on the floor from the bathtub

Hi guys,

Not sure how to explain it so I've taken a photo of the bathtub so it helps. Basically, I've got a shower-bath combo. The shower water unfortunately runs along the edge of the tiling (around the tub) and runs onto the floor. Any ideas on what I can do to stop this, maybe some kind of device that drains the water back to the tub?

Apologies in advance if this is a novice question but I'm just getting into the DIY mindset.

Poor design.... very bad.

Should be tub only and separate shower....

Cant suggest anything at the moment, but I would want some money back if I paid the that!!!!

The only way you can contain the water is to use a "halo" shower curtain. One that completely encases the tub. Otherwise you will be sopping up water forever. Google results: D Style Brass Shower Curtain Frame - 54" x 30" | Signature Hardware

I agree with the earlier posters. Even though you have a built in tub/shower, it looks to me like you'll have to treat it as if you had a stand alone tub, with a shower head mounted above.
