Help identifying material and worth of this vanity top

Can anyone identify what type of stone this is? Granite?

Found it on craigslist but I want to know what it's worth before I purchase it. In your opinion, what is this piece worth? Here are some details:

Double Vanity top
Decorative Ogee edges
Top cutout for dual undermount sinks (not included)
Top pre-drilled for 8" widespread faucets (not included)

You would have to look at the back side to really see what it is.
Looks like Marble from that picture, but some newer composits can be made to look like that.
What's it worth? Going to have to do some research and find one like it and see what a new one cost.
I would not pay much, there going to have a hard time getting rid of it.
