Tiling over cultured marble?

Looking at buying a rehabbed home. Are these good cabniets? Or are they cheap? I'm going to look at the place for a second time tonight. Any ideas on what to look at to tell if they are quality or not? Hi, I am remodeling a 1/2 bath and I've run into an issue. My vanity top is 30.5" and the gap I am putting it in is 31.5". The vanity is made of solid surface (fake plasticy thing that kind of looks like corian), and was purchased at Home Depot as part of a kit. Not sure if I will be able to return it as it has sat in the garage for quite some time. My original thought was to get some side splashes to cover the gap but it is more challenging than I tought. Stores don't really carry the side splashes and I have been to a few other places that specialize in countertops but most don't carry the solid surface stuff and if they do it is hard to match and also 1/2" thick but the gap is more like 9/16 or 5/8" and thus I would need something 3/4" to be optimal. I am looking for any ideas any of you might have. I am enclosing a picture for reference. The gap is on both sides of the vanity. Thanks for any help! Erik [ATTACH]25104[/ATTACH]
