I hired a plumber to install a bathroom vanity, but due to uneven wall/floor, there is a gap under the vanity in the front and on the side. It is about a half inch at the highest in the front. there are shims in there right now. What is the best way to cover or fill this?

The best way would have been to hire a CARPENTER, not a plumber.
The vanity should have been scribed (cut) to match the out-of-level floor.

I'm aghast,
Someone actually considered this finished?
Agree with X and bring in a carpenter to finish the job correctly, and share the pictures with the plumbing company if it is a big outfit to show the type of work they are cranking out. Pitiful.

Yes you can cover with molding..... My beef is that this was professionally installed. I would never, in a million years, even consider leaving a job with that left for the homeowner.

Thank you for all of your input. I was doing a mostly DIY bathroom redo but hired a plumber for the vanity install. It was supposed to be an easy job and they estimated 1.5 hrs but the plumber was there 6 hours... He ran out of time and said he would come back another day to finish, but he cut me a break and only charged me for the 1.5 hrs. I haven't been able to connect with him to get him back to finish and thinking I may need to finish this myself.
