Should I be worried about mold behind a new tub surround?

I suspected mold behind the tile in my bathroom due to poor installation and it couldn't of looked any worse once I removed the first tile. I ripped out all the tile/backer and replaced a couple studs that were rotted. I am in the process of installing a 3 piece tub surround up and am worried its going to come back even if no moisture will be present? Not sure if I am over thinking it or not and would like to get a few opinions. I cleaned the mold by bleaching first day, cleaning with vinegar the next and using Tilex mold cleaner the last day.

Thanks!

If you eliminate the moisture you should'nt have any problem.

Welcome to the forums!

As Norm stated, mold has to have moisture and heat to grow, take away either and it won't grow. Once you install your surround it's a good idea to caulk the top to the drywall as that will prevent any moisture from migrating down behind the surround.

You have removed both the window and the source of moisture in the walls. Without moisture, mold will not grow. I think you have done an excellent job so far and should not worry further issues. Your tub has a lip that will sit behind the enclosure so that any water will sheet into the tub. Only spot to watch is the curtain up against the business side of the shower. That is where most water will sneak out and get on the floor at the head of the tub.
