Hello all, First time homeowner here. I have recently purchased a home that is a bit of a "fixer upper." The kitchen was in decent shape. I was able to salvage the cabinets and counter tops with a little elbow grease, may have to replace down the road. I had to take out an old laminate floor and installed a new tile floor. I also had to purchase ALL new appliances. Anyways, as you can see from the pictures I have attached, the toe kick board is in rough shape. Now I am on a tight budget but I'd like to hear from the experts (you all) what your suggestions would be to improve the toe kick in the kitchen. I would rather not remove and totally replace what is there because that will add more work and more $$$, but rather take some suggestions and recommendations on what you would do with the toe kick that is currently there to make it look nice. Hi there, I am planning to redo my master bedroom shower. Currently is is a plastic insert type and I plan to rip that out and tile it. My question is about the shower door. My opening is 48 1/4 inches. The shower seems to have been built for that plastic insert shower from the builder. When I went to Hope Depot to look for a new door none fit my dimension (most are 45" or 55"). So my question is, when you are getting a new shower door, can you buy one that is adjustable to fit your space, or do you get one custom made, or do you demolish or add to the space in the shower to accommodate a pre-made shower door? Wondering what options I have because depending on what is available I may or may not have to rip down a wall to make the new door fit. Thanks for any help in advance.
