Bathroom floor is OSB 3/4" nothing else... do i Tile Over It or Not?
I am working on a bathroom remodeling myself. This is a 4 piece modular home built in 1990 and the floor of the home is literally..... just 3/4" OSB.
Do i replace it or add a layer of plywood over it ? What should i do before remodeling bathroom ? Because it is part of the membrane that the exterior walls are built on.... don't know to cut it out if i had to

Do not remove the sub flooring if it is in good condition.
You said remodel the bathroom but did not say to what extent you are remodeling. Are you just doing new flooring or planning to remove/replace the tub and other fixtures? What type of flooring do you want to put down?

More information...
I am remodeling the entire bathroom.... and i really do mean everything.... bathroom cabinets, shower and tub... everything... even toilet. The floor will be tile with a thin mat of heat coil under it..
I was in Lowes and saw this Schluter DITRA material and i was going to lay a heated floor mat over the floor, then the DITRA, then mortar, then tile.. per the instructions...
But i just wonder if it really is safe to just go with the 3/4" OSB where my soaking tub will be and under the shower....
Thoughts?

We really do need additional information on the floor. Realize you said 4 part modular home, but how big are the floor joists, what spacing between them, how wide are the sections of floor between supports? Also, what type of tile (large format of regular sizes) and square footage of the bath. How large of a soaking tub and is it that much bigger than what is currently there that we need to worry about weight. The weight portion of the equation falls on the floor joists not the OSB.
Lets work ourselves up a little at a time so we are on the same page and others can chime in.
