Where to buy the shelf for a shower niche
Hi Everyone -
My contractor is about to start tiling the tub/shower surround.
I'd like him to put a shampoo niche into the wall. He has a prefab form that has two niches, one over the other, with about 2 inches separating the two. I'd rather have one niche with a thin stone (like marble) shelf about 2 inches above the bottom of the niche. Does anyone know where I could get the stone shelf? Is there a place to buy one already cut?

Unless he "stick" builds the niche, it may be difficult to do what you want. Depending on how far along he is on the tile, it could stall the process for days waiting on a design change from you. Finding the stone should not be difficult. Tile and stone stores carry many styles and designs.
