cracked kitchen counter top

Hello,

not sure if this is the right forum but couldn't find anything appropriate.

Long story short, a wall-mounted cabinet fell on top of our kitchen counter, cracked it, and hit the floor, resulting in a big hole in the floor. I have leftover flooring, so I'm not worried about that, but our countertop has a giant crack in it.

I'm pretty sure that it's the quartz countertop found on the home depot website (the contractors who redid the house before we bought it did everything on the cheap and without permits - and now we're paying for it!)

Is it possible to repair a quartz countertop? Or do we just have to replace it?

I've attached some photos below. The first photo shows a close up of the crack, and the second shows the crack running a diagonal portion of the countertop:

That looks pretty bad and I doubt it can be fixed. However, when I had my granit counter top installed I was told it could fixed if an edge section chipped off. I would call a dedicated counter top dealer who installs stone for advise and not any big box store.

edit... I would also check and reinforce those upper cabinets before fixing the counter top.
