Under Cabinet Lighting Question

I'm in the process of choosing under cabinet lighting for my kitchen. I'm going to need to hire someone to install a light switch for the lights next to an existing electrical outlet, plus someone to install the lights which will include drilling holes between the cabinets to run the wires so that they will not be seen.

My question is, who would I hire for this? An electrician was my first thought, but would an electrician do the installation of the lights as well? Or do I need a general contractor or a carpenter?

Thanks!!
