Tile shower drain help
Moved Into new house couple months ago. Removed the tile shower drain cover to clean it. And this is what I found. Not sure what I'm looking at, but it doesn't look right to me. It looks all wrong.

People post from tablets all the time, so a mobile device should work. Above are instructions in case you are missing a step. Often times the pictures have to be scaled down as the files are too large with these mega pixel camera.

Pictures from a phone may be too large. They need to be reduced to something in the order of 1080 x 640 or so in order to post. Use the link Z posted to do it. Much easier.

Is there anyway to get a look from below? It appears to be a older mud bed metal drain body that would have been used with a lead pan liner. The ABS plastic has no business being there, it should be all metal. Do you have a picture of what it looks like with the drain cover on? I'm sure it is not correct, but want to verify how they presented it to you.
