Bathtub woes
Hey all. Hopefully thanks will be offered to a solution.
So here goes. 60" tub. Problem WITH drywal the space is 61". I have a whole inch from one side. The basement was framed when I got it and the framing was 62" apart. So any suggestions as to what to do.
Thanks for any help

You need to add furring strips to one wall so that the tub fits the alcove. You then do a small job in the wall itself outside the tub area to set the wallboard back to the original depth. If there is a shower associated with this tub then drywall is not permitted inside the tub/shower alcove area except above the coordinating walls or tile.
