Blocking for Mortar Shower Pan

Hi, This site is proving to be very helpful for me. When adding blocking for the shower pan box I have the water supply lines in the way and Iím not able to add the block between the studs in this area in which to add the mortar. What would you recommend that I do in this case? Thanks

I used 3/4" plywood and attached it with kreg pocket screws. You could also notch your blocking.
