Replacing shower stall

I have a small master bathroom (7'-8"x 47"). I need to replace my shower stall, the base has a slight crack at the drain (original to the house built 1974) and it's time for an upgrade. It is 47" wide x 34" deep.

Can I get a new stall (all one piece) thru a 24" door opening?

Thanks, for any comments!

Let's see.........47" x 34"..........Nope. In an area that small, unless you use a 4 piece shower stall unit, you will need to demo what you have by cutting it with a reciprocating saw and forming a packed shower pan and tile the floor and walls.

Thanks, Chandler! Looks like the 4 piece shower stall unit for me...the wife had said, 'no tile in the shower... to hard to keep it clean!'

Look for good quality rigid side panels and not the cheaper flimsy sides. You can thank me later.
