Existing tub with gaps to floor

Hello! We are renovating our first home and have been very frustrated with our contractor. He 'finished' our bathroom, but there are gaps where the bottom edge of our fiberglass tub does not meet the floor. He hasn't returned for weeks to fix it, even after calls. Any help with ideas on the best way to shim, fill the gaps ourselves would be great! (Gaps are about 1/4 inch)

I would do either a bead of white caulk or run a strip of PVC quarter round moulding.

Thank you! I like the idea of pvc quarter round moulding - we hadn't thought about that idea
