grout around wall tile in tub area
#1
We just got out 32-year old bathroom renovated and notice that the grout around the wall tile gets dark when the water from the shower hits it, and then it dries to its normal color. We're concerned about using tile sprays or other cleaners because we don't know if they will discolor the grout. Our old bathroom had the tiny tiles with lots of grout around them, but they never changed color when wet.
Is it best to stick with plain water when cleaning the tile wall?

Is this new tile? If so, sounds like the installer forgot to apply grout sealer to the grout. It is just absorbing water, and then drying out.
Might want to consider sealing the grout, may need to be cleaned first, if you have been using shower for a while.
