What's my vanity made of?

We are trying to figure out "budget friendly " options on redoing our bathroom. But I have no idea what this countertop is made of! Anyone know?

It is called "Cultured Marble". It comes in standard sizes or you can have one custom made at a plumbing supply house or possibly your box stores as well.

The old cultured marble will probably be hard to remove cleanly.
You can shatter it with a hammer and take it out in buckets or pieces. The shards are sharp so wear gloves. It's also pretty heavy.
