1.5 Bath Layout - Removal of Connecting Door

Hello!

I am considering walling off a door that connects our half bath and full bath, but I'm wondering if doing so will affect the resale value. I like the idea of keeping the bathrooms seperate, but I know that most 1.5 bath houses have the full bath off of the main living space or hallway. Separating the bathrooms will work for my family, but will I regret it when we go to sell the house?

In reference to attached image:
Blue outline = Master/Full Bath
Red outline = Half bath off of the hallway
Green line = Door in question

Thanks in advance!

Suppose you put a lock on it for now? Then the new owners have a choice.

Yes it will make it harder to sell... who would want people (family or visitors) traipsing through their master bedroom every time they needed to take a shower, morning and night?
