Towel rack pulling out of wall
#1

My towel rack is pulling out of the wall. A friend told me to tighten the little screw under the towel rack, but that didn't make a difference (the screw was so small - I'm not sure anything happened when I tried to tighten it). Do I need to replace the towel rack? If so, how do I take it out of the wall? Thanks for your help.

Need some clarity here. You said pulling out of the wall, which means screws, hardware, towel rack and all come out of the wall. Is this correct?
Tightening the little screw on the bottom of the towel rack keep the rack attached to the mounting plates.
If it is coming out of the wall, you either need larger drywall anchor screws or toggle bolts to keep the hardware on the wall. You might try taking out the mounting screws (and the plastic sleeve they screw into) and take them to a hardware store for help.
