Kitchen Sink Removal
Hi everyone,
I am having a bit of trouble figuring out how to remove my sink. Every video I've watched shows sinks attached with clips and I see no clips on mine. I'm wondering if I just need to remove the caulking around the brim of the sink to get it out. Thanks for any advice ahead.

Looks like a cast iron sink. Very heavy, If you are saving counter tops carefully cut the caulk around sink and get 2 people to lift out.

Yes, it appears your sink is only glued in place. First, disconnect all the plumbing and remove a disposal if you have one. I use a thin, flexible putty knife and slide the blade underneath the edge of the sink. Work it in until you fee it bottom out against the cast iron a couple inches in. Then wiggle the knife and work your way around the sink. Then lift the sink out.

You might also find that a pack of shims is handy. Once you cut the caulk under the rim, you can drive a shim in, which will help lift the sink slightly. This makes cutting the caulk easier as you proceed, inserting more shims, pushing them in further as you go. It also allows you to actually see any areas that are still stuck.
A flexible linoleum style knife blade works well for getting under the rim. Lowe's used to sell them.
