lower range hood flue removal / it's jammed stuck

I am in the process of either replacing or fixing my center island range hood. I took the shroud off and I'm left with the motor to remove. The lower flue is pushed up so that I can move it down to get to the blower. Any tips on removing that. I would say it's pushed up and it won't slide down. I also want to save it for the new hood insted of dropping another $100+ for flues
