tub faucet

Question

How do you remove a Moen faucet head . It is the one that is plastic ( clear) turns to the left for hot and the right for cold . I removed the screws from the face plate . Douse the knob pull off or do you remove a plastic cap that I do not see? Any help with this would be appreciated. The resion that I nedd to remove this that it will not turn off all the way it runs slightly. Thanks Phillip

Watch this small movie clip there easy to remove.

Clip is is quicktime so if you don't have quicktime installed you can't see this.

First, put the chrome back plate back on, if that's what you took off. Shut off water supplies, or main to house if necessary and depressurize the lines by opening a faucet. Pop off the little plate in the middle of the handle with a small screwdriver or knife. Take out the single screw in the center of the handle, and remove the handle. There will be a small U shaped clip across the top of the stem, which has to be pulled out to one side, then pull the faucet stem straight out. Hope that helps!
